What is a Sound Bath

A sound bath also referred to as  "sound meditation" or "sound therapy" is the practice of mindfully listening to different sounds that help relax the body and mind. It is an immersive full-body meditative experience where you are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by various healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, shamanic drums, chimes, tuning forks, and even the human voice. immersive, full-body listening experience "that can bring balance, relaxation, and a sense of calm to your whole being."

Sound baths bring balance, relaxation, and a sense of calm and well-being to the listener by using healing vibrations to clear blockages from the participant's energy fields. Energy blocks can cause physical, mental, and spiritual discordance. Among the benefits are expanded awareness, and access to inner peace . Sound baths  affect our brainwaves, they change  them from the normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta sleep where internal healing can occur. Sound bags create a restorative therapeutic effect on the mind and body.
